Baseball Excellence - The Complete Baseball Practice

Wanted to take the time and say "THANK YOU" for this website and the instructional videos you produce. My son Matt is 10 years old and plays in the Pembroke Pines East Optimist League down here in South Florida. It is a recreational league but we have extremely competitive coaches here. This website was a "miracle" for me. I have been coaching my son since he was 6 1/2 , and volunteered to coach just like most dads do because there weren't enough coaches. Amazingly enough, we did pretty well never having a losing season until a year ago when my son moved up to an older division and we had the youngest team and NO experienced assistant coaches. We only won three games that season and it was the most frustrating time for my son as well as myself. Up to that point I always tried to learn as much as I could and seemed to improve as a coach, but I realized it wasn't enough. I decided to become a "student of the game" and threw myself whole heartedly into learning as much as I could. It was around last summer when I found this website and decided I would buy " The Complete Baseball Practice" video. What an eye opener it was for me! I was one of the coaches who would do the " okay guys, man on first, no outs...." you know the kind. We started following the drills in that video at practice and other coaches thought we were nuts! When our games started this fall, we noticed the kids making plays using the same skills that they learned in the drills. Because of the Quarterbacks & Layout drills alone, my son begged me to put him in the outfield. Well not long after that he was making spectacular catches and throwing runners out at the bases! Man I was so proud of him! All twelve kids on that team improved so much that this spring draft, we lost a lot of the kids to other coaches who wanted our players. I have been approached by other coaches and parents wanting to know about the drills we use and I tell 'em, Baseball Excellence is where you need to go!! Sorry for the long winded e-mail but I had to tell you this story. You guys have a loyal coach, student and player for life! P.S. By the way, we took part in a fall tournament put on by our league and made it to the finals! We lost unfortunately to a travel team!!! Don't ask, we're still trying to figure that one out. The Complete Baseball Practice
This video is a coaching clinic at your fingertips, designed to help your players succeed. Why do we call it the Complete Baseball Practice? Because it illustrates how to develop players in all facets of the game.
