See, considering that pitchers in the Little League World Series rarely exceed speeds of 75 mph, there might be something wrong with the radar gun you had yourself measured... or maybe you just have a really good arm. You should worry more about location and speed change rather than velocity, especially at that age.

When I was 12, I rarely threw above 55. But that's just me.

If you are anywhere close to what you say, you are gifted IMO.

Because you are 12, please take heed.  You are focused on speed based upon your 2 recent posts here.  Please focus on mechanics, location, and learning the game.  Speed should be the least of your worries.  To be able to make it to 17 without "throwing your arm out" you need to be very smart about how you throw and how much you throw.
Insist on proper stretching and good warm-up.
Insist on learning the mechanics that will save your arm.
Insist on pitch counts.

If you don't do these things, some day you might look back and regret it.

Not very good I'm afraid. My 9 yr old hits 82 & cruises on 78. Seriously, in the totally unlikely event you are throwing 75-80 from 46 feet, nobody, & I mean nobody, would hit the ball. That would equate to well over 100 mph (bases on 60'6 distance) Somebody is filling your head full of nonsense.

I believe it adds 20 MPH at that distance.. some 12 yr olds in the LLWS threw 70 most are 65.-68

have a good day then Goldyloc

If you are throwing 65+ true speed as a 12 that is quite good. If you are throwing 75+ you are way at the top of the curve. There are a few. But not many.

If you are throwing that hard, you are doing a lot of things right. Before you latch on to anyone's advice on mechanics, I would think long and hard about who to choose. Do your research. Email me if you want suggestions.

Oh boy, here come the Koolaid drinkers. IMHO it is totally inappropriate to come on a man's site & promote another site. BTW I've seen your propaganda repeatedly on other sites where it was also inappropriate. Think about it.
